Safety & privacy

Asking for help should never feel unsafe. These are the protections we build in.

Documents stay private

Verification documents are stored in a private area readable only by you and trained verifiers. They are never shown on a public page or shared with contributors.

No contact details in public

Phone numbers, addresses and email are never published on a request page. Please do not write them in your story either.

Human verification before publishing

A request is only visible to the community after a volunteer verifier has reviewed it.

Report anything that feels wrong

Every request page has a report button. Reports go straight to the review team and are not visible to the person who posted.

What we never do

We never lend money, charge interest, collect repayment, or promise returns. We are not an NGO or charitable trust, we hold no government authorisation, and we offer no tax benefit such as 80G. Never send money outside the platform to anyone claiming to represent SAATH.

In an emergency

If someone is in immediate danger, please contact local emergency services (112). SAATH is not an emergency service.
